31 hours per week plus 5 additional hours for wrap around nursery/before school club provision (to include a few sessions between 7.45am – 8.45am, please still enquire if you are unable to undertake this part of the role)

Grade D £18,426 –  Grade E  £19,945 pro rata depending on experience and qualifications

Role overview:

River Mead School is part of The Mead Academy Trust. We are a thriving primary and nursery school with a very recent ‘Good’ Ofsted appraisal.   

We are seeking to appoint an Early Years Teaching Assistant to support our teaching teams. You will initially be based at River Mead School working as part of the Early Years team in our energetic setting.

Our Reception and nursery classes work together and often as one unit, sharing outside areas.

For the successful candidate, this exciting development offers the opportunity to be part of a high functioning team.

There are protected play areas and a large Multi-Use Games Arena with AstroTurf, which continue to be developed to provide fantastic outdoor learning opportunities. You will help ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times and act as a responsible carer.   

Contract type: Permanent/Temporary – a temporary post may be considered for a candidate who does not have the desired skills and/or experience for a full time permanent post
