Role overview
We welcome applications from candidates who are:
- An outstanding classroom teacher with a passion for developing children’s knowledge, inspiring their learning and celebrating their achievements
- Dedicated to, and have high expectations of, children with a belief that all children can succeed
- Aspiring to the challenge of a position within the school leadership team
- Keen to develop leadership skills and expertise with specific responsibility for Inclusion (including attendance, leading on interventions, analysis of high level behaviour incidents, and early identification of children with potential SEND)
- Experienced in working with colleagues (including multi-agency professionals), children and parents to ensure that all learners make good progress from their starting points, and are advantaged by your leadership
- Able to demonstrate strong leadership in inclusion, with a proven track record of supporting others to improve their practice
- Able to motivate and inspire others
- Prepared to support and hold people to account
- Strong communicators, with excellent interpersonal skills
- Innovative, creative and forward thinking
- Committed to their own professional development and learning
- Able to work effectively within our hardworking, talented and friendly team, on whole school issues
- Experienced in modelling and sharing good practice
- Able to undertake a teaching role, including leading on nurture or providing regular release time for another teacher within KS2
- Excited to develop strong engagement with the local community and other multi-agency professionals
