Vacancy: After School Care Assistant Play Leader
There is no requirement to have a qualification for this role, but you will need to be reliable, enthusiastic, and playful. Our staff come from a huge variety of backgrounds, and we embrace and actively welcome people from all walks of life. We understand the vast knowledge and skill that comes from a range of sectors.
The duties and responsibilities of a Wrap Around Care Assistant are:
• To assist with the day-to-day organisation of After School Care
• To provide care and supervision of children attending
• Support the initiation of play and other interesting and / or fun activities
• Organise and lead safe, creative and appropriate play opportunities, following the planned programme of activities
• Supervise and support children undertaking school homework activities and assignments
• Administer Basic First Aid as appropriate

This role will involve contact with children and the post holder will be engaged in regulated activity relevant to children and will be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check before appointment is confirmed.
