Core hours 8.30am – 3.30pm Monday-Friday, term time only (including TD Days)
Plus 1 hour planning 3.30-4.30 Thursdays
Plus 2 additional hours a week beyond the end of the school day – day/s to be agreed

Location
The role is based at the school’s Hilperton site, but regular travel to the Wingfield site will be required, as this role supports children and families at both locations.
Role overview
We consider the pastoral and emotional care of our children as being integral to our school, and wish to appoint an Emotional Literacy Support Assistant to underpin this key strand of our school’s work. We would love to hear from you if you are already in a similar role, Thrive trained, or an experienced Teaching Assistant and ready to take the next step in your career by stepping into this critical role.
The school would love to hear from candidates who are:
• Able to work purposefully and collaboratively with children, young people and families
• Well organised and able to work co-operatively with other professionals
• Passionate about improving learning opportunities for all children within a creative curriculum
• Able to form positive relationships and foster the characteristics of effective learning
• Committed to valuing and supporting the development of each child
• Flexible, enthusiastic and energetic, with a strong commitment to teamwork
• Trained in First Aid, or willing to undertake training
• Confident in the use of IT
• Able to communicate well both verbally and in writing with children and adults alike
• Qualified in NVQ Level 2 in Teaching and Learning, or higher
• Willingness to undertake training relevant to the role
