The Mead has a vacancy for a Music Specialist to join the team from 1 September 2022. This person will lead music across the school, working as an effective team member to ensure the delivery of high quality music teaching throughout the school.

There is no need for Qualified Teacher Status for this role, but you will need to:
• Already be a member of staff at The Mead Primary School
• Hold a music degree
• Be proficient at playing the piano
• Demonstrate an ability to lead music across the school
• Work collaboratively with the music leads at other Trust schools

This role will involve contact with children and the post holder will be engaged in regulated activity relevant to children and will be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check before appointment is confirmed.
