Castle Mead school is a vibrant, growing primary school in the heart of East Trowbridge. Rated ‘Good’ at its last Ofsted inspection, the school continues to go from strength to strength under the new leadership of Mrs Emma Larkham, with two form entry, an onsite Nursery and Complex Needs Resource Base.
Mrs Larkham and her Senior Leadership Team are now recruiting for a Resource Base Teacher to join her dedicated, passionate team from 1st January 2022. Mrs Larkham is particularly interested in hearing from candidates who have experience of working in a Complex Needs Resource Base, but will consider applications from all candidates who have an interest and passion for working with children with complex needs.

• A qualified teacher with a passion for developing children’s knowledge, inspiring their learning and celebrating their achievements
• Passionate about improving learning opportunities for children with complex needs
• Experienced in creating and delivering highly bespoke curriculums
• Skilled at using a range of strategies for complex needs, including ASD
• Strongly motivated to support children with additional and complex needs
• Dedicated to, and have high expectations of, children with a belief that all children can succeed
• An excellent communicator with fantastic interpersonal skills
• Innovative, creative and forward thinking, and committed to your own professional development and learning
• Able to work effectively within our hardworking, talented and friendly team, on whole school issues and can share good practice
• Looking to become part of an inclusive and collaborative academy trust, where there is a rich, engaging curriculum and where individuals are nurtured and valued
