Vacancy: Senior Teacher (Early Years)
This post is only open to existing members of staff at Castle Mead School. As well as being a current member of the Castle Mead team, applicants should be:
• Dedicated to, and have high expectations of, children with a belief that all children can succeed
• Aspiring to the challenge of a position within the school leadership team
• Keen to develop leadership skills and expertise with responsibility for developing the provision across the Early Years
• Confident to work with colleagues to ensure that all learners make good progress, and are advantaged by your leadership
• Able to motivate and inspire others
• Prepared to support others, and hold people to account
• Strong communicators, with excellent interpersonal skills
• Innovative, creative and forward thinking, and committed to their own professional development and learning
• Able to work effectively within our hardworking, talented and friendly team, on whole school issues
• Skilled in modelling and sharing good practice
• Able to undertake a teaching role with identified release time
• Excited to develop strong engagement with the local community

This role will involve contact with children and the post holder will be engaged in regulated activity relevant to children and will be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check before appointment is confirmed.
