Hours
Teaching Assistant: 28.5 hours a week 8.45am – 3.15pm (4.30pm on a Thursday for planning, plus potential additional hours to cover Wrap Around Care on other days of the week which will be discussed at interview), 39 weeks per year PLUS MDSA: 2.5 hours a week, 38 weeks a year. Please indicate on your application if you would prefer to work part time hours, these would be considered for the right candidate.
Location
There are vacancies available at both the Hilperton and Wingfield sites. We will consider a best fit in location for all candidates, but if you have a particular preference for either Hilperton or Wingfield, please let us know on your application

We welcome applications from experienced Teaching Assistants, as well as those who are passionate about working with children and are just embarking on their career of supporting learning. We have full time vacancies available, but are happy to hear from candidates who wish to work part time and would be interested in a job share

• Able to work purposefully and collaboratively with children, young people and families
• Passionate about improving learning opportunities for all children within a creative curriculum
• Able to form positive relationships and foster the characteristics of effective learning
• Committed to valuing and supporting the development of each child
• Flexible, enthusiastic and energetic, with a strong commitment to teamwork
• Trained in First Aid, or willing to undertake training
• Confident in the use of IT, including Word, Smart boards and the internet
• Able to communicate well both verbally and in writing with children and adults alike
• Qualified in NVQ Level 2 in Teaching and Learning, or higher
