Hours:

Teaching Assistant: 28.5 hours per week
MDSA: 2.5 hours per week
39 weeks per year
8.45am – 3.15pm (Thursday 3.30pm – 4.30pm additional hour planning and preparation time with Class Teacher)

Salary:

Grade D £18,426 –  Grade F  £20,344 pro rata depending on experience and qualifications

We are growing our school family, and want to appoint enthusiastic, skilled and committed Specialist Nurture/SEMH Teaching Assistants. The role will involve supporting children with barriers to learning who have a range of  SEMH needs and require a nurturing personalised provision.

  • Confident in using a range of behaviour management strategies
  • Passionate about improving learning opportunities for all children within a creative curriculum
  • Able to form positive relationships and foster the characteristics of effective learning
  • Committed to valuing and supporting the development of each child
  • Motivated to develop their skills to support highly effective learning
  • Flexible, with a strong commitment to teamwork
  • Energetic and enthusiastic with a good sense of humour
  • Confident in the use of basic IT including the use of Word, Smart boards and the internet
