Thursday 3.30pm – 4.30pm additional hour planning and preparation time (with Class Teacher)


D4 £18,426 – E8 £19,945  dependant on experience and qualifications

Post 1 – Castle Mead School

Castle Mead is expanding to two forms of entry across the school. We have a Resource Base which provides specialist support for children with a range of complex needs. The school has an onsite nursery.  We are seeking an additional Teaching Assistant, ideally with an interest in supporting learning at KS2.

Post 2 – The Mead Primary School

The Mead operates across 2 sites at Hilperton (two forms of entry) and Wingfield (4 classes) both with onsite nurseries.  We are seeking an additional Teaching Assistant based at the Hilperton site.

Both schools offer an exceptional learning environment with hall, library, and outstanding resources. We also have specialist music rooms, and group rooms. There are extensive grounds and protected play areas which continue to be developed to provide a fantastic outdoor space. We grow our own produce and have chickens and a Pets as Therapy dog at both schools..

As part of The Mead Academy Trust we have close links with The Mead Teaching School, providing numerous opportunities for exceptional professional development.
