Role overview
We have a vacancy at The Mead Primary School for a Wrap Around Care Leader. Wrap Around Care is a crucial element of the school’s offer, and we are seeking an experienced leader to deliver the excellent provision before and after school that our children deserve. This is the perfect role for someone already qualified at Level 3, and looking for a new challenge.

The Wrap Around Care Leader will:
• Provide a safe and stimulating environment for pupils after school hours
• Plan and prepare appropriate activities for children’s social education and to encourage co-operation
• Prepare and organise play opportunities for the children attending Wrap Around Care
• Manage registration of children and communicating with parents
• Lead and support the staff team
• Be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who will bring a sense of energy and passion to the role
• Use their initiative to work independently and flexibly
• Form positive relationships with both children and adults, and work effectively as part of a team
• Show empathy and flexibility towards the children in their care

• Qualified to Level 3 or above with either a childcare, teaching , sports coaching or TA qualification
• A qualified paediatric First Aider, or willing to undertake training
• Experienced in leading and managing a team
