Merger with Equa Multi Academy Trust

We are really excited to confirm that the Department for Education’s South West Advisory Board met earlier this week, and approved the merger between The Mead Trust and EQUA Multi Academy Trust. In addition, 6 other schools (The Grove Primary School, Southwick Primary School, Bellefield C of E Primary & Nursery School, North Bradley C of  E Primary School, Studley Green Primary School and St Barnabas C of E) were also successful in gaining approval to join us. 

Our mission – Every Child, Every Chance – will enable all learners to believe in themselves and to enjoy an ambitious and inspirational education in order to develop their character, confidence, knowledge and skills. This is the touchstone that will ensure all of our schools continue to deliver the best possible learning experiences based on quality, excellence and high standards. Our underpinning principles will embody the values and ethos of the Trust and act as our guiding purpose for every decision taken.

We now continue with our due diligence and begin the legal work required. Currently, we are working towards a conversion date of 1 June 2024. As a Trust, we are really excited about this next stage of our development. We believe this growth is a key way to ensure our schools continue to flourish with even more resources and expert capacity.
