We want to appoint staff who are inclusive, passionate and principled. Each and every member of our staff team, no matter what their role, is committed to providing ‘Inspirational Learning for All’. We recognise that every member of staff contributes to the success of our schools, so whether you join our housekeeping, business, estates, teaching or leadership teams you will be equally valued and supported.
We have a strong and effective induction programme, which begins before your first day. You’ll receive an induction pack via email from us, which will tell you all you need to know before you even start with us. You’ll be allocated a buddy, who will get in touch before your first day to make sure you’ve got everything you need. Then, they’ll meet you on Day One to show you ropes and answer any questions you’ve got.
All of our staff have access to high quality training and professional development with opportunities for career progression across our Trust schools. We also provide everybody with their own Zoom account and access to the National College, where you can watch webinars, and access training, for free at any time to suit you.
If you’re as inclusive, passionate and principled as us, and you would like join our ambitious Trust, we would love to hear from you. For an informal discussion about any aspect of working for our Trust please contact us via email.
Our schools maintain a local tier of governance, called an Academy Advisor Group (AAG). AAGs offer support and challenge to their school in line with our Scheme of Delegation. Academy Advisors within The Mead Trust hold an advisory role with influence, rather than accountability. In this role, they support and challenge leaders, bring links from other local organisations, help the school to play its role in the community, and act as an ambassador to share the school’s successes. Most of all – they bring a passion and commitment to the success of all learners.
If you would be interested in joining our Governance Community, please get in touch to find out more.
